Cidon Construction have been awarded the substructure and superstructure package by Sir Robert McAlpine on the Clippers Quay development, the largest PRS (Private Rented Sector) development outside London.
This scheme of multiple reinforced concrete frames in Salford Quays, will deliver over 600 new private rented homes, along with commercial and amenity space in five individual blocks over ten storeys. With its close proximity to Manchester & Media City UK, Clippers Quay is a highly regarded development within the North West region.
While acting as the RC frame contractor for the scheme, the operations team of Cidon Construction will manage as part of the substructure works, the installation of a petrol interceptor, five attenuation tanks, all surface water & foul water drainage, service ducts and inspection chambers.
