At Cidon Construction, we take our Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously, and do not use it simply as a strap line, on our website or as paper policy to tick boxes. We are in a strong position, using our in-house resources to help others in our community and the communities in which we work.
We support a number of chosen charities throughout the year, predominantly smaller organisations which are not well known. Our support is presented in various ways from fundraising, providing space for meetings and events and working with groups outside working hours. We also provide employment opportunities to people who may be from disadvantaged backgrounds or those in vulnerable areas of society.
Throughout 2019, we raised a staggering £7000.00 to support our chosen charities. Your support really does make a difference!

For our Make a Difference Campaign 2020, we have a number of events in the pipeline including coffee mornings, raffles, walking the Three Yorkshire Peaks, and a fundraising evening to support the following charities:
Rotherham Foster Carers Association
Continuing our support since 2018, the money raised will go towards helping establish the Rotherham Foster Carers Association, and fund activities for the Looked After Children & Children's Council. Not only this, but also raising awareness of Fostering in Rotherham and the wider community.
Bone Cancer Research Trust
The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer. Their mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for people of all ages affected by primary bone cancer through research, information, awareness and support.
Held in our Hearts – Scotland
A local charity, providing baby loss counselling and support to families. Formerly known as SANDS Lothians, Held in our Hearts have 40 years' experience of offering compassionate bereavement care in the community.
Lighthouse Club & Building Mental Health Charter
The only charity that provides financial and emotional support to the construction community and their families who have suffered an injury or long term illness or simply need a helping hand.
Lighthouse also joined with the Building Mental Health Charter, which we signed in 2019. In joining this Charter, we want to highlight to our Workforce and Stakeholders the positive steps we are taking to promote positive mental ill-health at Cidon Construction. We have trained members of our senior management team as qualified Mental Health First Aiders, and implemented steps for improvement to support mental ill-health in the workplace.
We are grateful for your support, and very much appreciate all your donations.
