For the third year in a row, Cidon have invested in another group of 9 apprentices who began with us in September 2016.
The group will carrying out a Level 2 formwork joinery apprenticeship, and attend the training one day per week with a specialised provider. When the apprentices are not training, they will be based on site working within an experienced gang, overseen by a supervisor.
During the apprenticeship, the group will obtain an in depth knowledge of the formwork joinery trade, focussing on industry standard methods of construction and systems, good practices and looking at the overall picture of the site operations.
They will study the concept and purpose of steelfixing and concreting as well as gaining some experience on site, therefore training them to be an all-round experienced and a valuable member of our long term team. They will also carry out additional training to assist them on site including IPAF, Working at Height and CPCS Slinger Signaller.
