Castle Leazes Project Continues to Make Strong Progress

Cidon Construction continues to make strong progress at the Castle Leazes development in Newcastle, delivering works for Bowmer + Kirkland on behalf of Newcastle University and Unite Students.

To date, 19 of the 25 stair cores have been completed, marking another significant milestone in the delivery of the project.

Works commenced on Core 8 last week, with concrete works now underway as the team continues with the planned sequence of works across the site.

Alongside the core construction, precast stairs have now been installed to 13 cores, all of which have been successfully capped off. The installations provide safe access through the completed structures while supporting the progression of follow-on trades.

Progress remains positive across the development, with stair core construction and precast installations continuing to advance in line with the project programme.

The latest milestone reflects the continued hard work and commitment of the Cidon site team and the collaborative approach of everyone involved in the project.
